SAVE THE CHILDREN
This non-governmental organization works specifically with children and families. Save The Children is one the main charities that I keep up to date with and donate to regularly. You can donate online.

UNICEF
UNICEF is one of my most favorite charities. They do incredible work. I always urge people to get involved with them. I read the emails from them every single day and find that they are a great way to keep up to date with what is happening around the world. You can donate to UNICEF online, or by texting "Nepal" to 864233 (UNICEF). The text will result in a $10 donation.
