The Secretary of Treasury announced that Harriet Tubman will take the place of slave owner Andrew Jackson as the new face of the $20 bill! The move comes as the most historically symbolic makeover to American currency is 100 years. I am so excited to finally see a woman's face on American currency, and while there are so many women who have made game-changing, incredible contributions in history, I couldn't be happier to have the courageous crusader and abolitionist herself. Her courage and commitment to equality is certainly something to be celebrated!
