The atmosphere in LA has been abnormally winter-y and cold, which has been really exciting because that means that I get to bundle up in all those rich, heavy, cozy fabrics like wools and cashmeres, and do wintery things like enjoy a good conversation over hot espresso in a local cafe while the rain hits the windows from outside. I love to layer and never really get to do it here in LA very often. There is nothing quite like putting on a pair of wide leg wool pants and a cashmere turtleneck, throwing a heavy coat over and finishing with wool hat or beret and a pair of cashmere socks paired with loafers or pointed pumps. What screams a timeless winter more?
