My newest creative endeavor- the launch of Disco Panda
Hi guys!
I have been working like crazy for the past few months on a super special project that I’ve been dying to tell you about. I wrote a couple of weeks ago about biting off more than you can chew, and then chewing it. I am constantly doing a lot of chewing…too much chewing...wearing myself too thin with regular work, charity work and both current and new creative projects. But I pride myself on following through on the commitments I make to myself and others, and truthfully, I get really excited about my work and really want to make things happen, so 16 hour work days, too much stress and no sleep always pays off in the end.
I just launched a second kid's clothing label called Disco Panda, and it's officially shop-able today on Etsy!
As you might know, I co-founded a kid’s clothing line with a great friend of mine last year, called Tribe and Company. Tribe is whimsical, colorful and retro, with very unique or one of a kind pieces that we make with small batch or vintage dead-stock fabrics. We are currently working on a new collection and it’s going to be freakin’ awesome. You just wait. It will be ready by the new year.
Disco Panda, however, is modern, street clothes for cool kids that care. It’s a clothing label with an affection for peace, kindness and unity. I am a firm believer in raising our voices, standing up for what’s right, and giving back to the world in a positive way, and the label really reflects and promotes that. For example, our "Activist Collection" tees are super rad and special with strong messages of activism and girl power. I am also so happy to say that proceeds from each and every sale go to helping vulnerable women and children around the world.
xx,
Ash
