Thanks to that long sleeved Reformation top that every it-girl was wearing last year, you've seen the lace up trend everywhere at this point from bodysuits to blouses. Right when I thought the trend was dead and I never wanted to see it again, Proenza Schouler showed up at NYFW and brought it back with a one-two punch with artful knits, coats and horizontally lace up dresses. It is the unexpected way that it was styled however that has me rethinking outing all the lace up pieces in my closet.
Layer your lace up blouse over a long, flowing top or tunic.
Let a slip (or slip dress) peek out the bottom of your lace up skirt.
Go horiztonal!
Loosen the laces on a lace up dress and pull the top off your shoulders to expose the top you've layered underneath.
