Because you are what you eat.
Diet is everything when it comes to glowing skin and hair and your overall health, and it’s so important to be conscious of what we are putting into our bodies and ensuring that we are flooding our bodies with nutrient dense foods every single day.
1. TRY TO EAT EVERY COLOR OF THE RAINBOW
1. TRY TO EAT EVERY COLOR OF THE RAINBOW
every day...and not in gummy bears. If you’re not eating fruits and vegetables every day, you’re cheating your body out of essential vitamins and nutrients.
2. AVOID PESTICIDES AND HARMFUL CHEMICAL
They can cause a variety of health problems, including kidney damage, hair loss, behavioral problems, cancer, fetal abnormalities, and more. Check out: 10 Ingredients To Avoid At All Costs.
3. TRY A SUPPLEMENTAL POWDER
I love Orac Energy Protein and Greens. It literally has everything you could possibly need in it from herbs, vegetables and fruits, including foods that you wouldn’t get in your normal diet, like chlorella, wheatgrass and spirulina. Also, pay special attention to your intake of folate, calcium, and iron, especially if you plan to get pregnant.
4. CLEAR YOUR PANTRY
of junk food- including sodas, sugary drinks and processed foods. I know we all want some chips, crackers and less than healthy snacks sometimes, and really nothing processed is good for you- but if you're going to eat it, try a healthier alternative like nut crackers or vegetable chips.

5. USE HEALTHY OILS
for cooking and for salad dressings. Olive, canola, flaxseed and avocado oils are ranked as the healthiest. Also remember to choose "cold-pressed" and/or "expeller-pressed" when possible. Cold-pressed oils are pressed at low temperatures, which means they retain all the flavors, aromas, and nutrients that would otherwise be destroyed by heat. Expeller-pressing is another clean way of producing oil: It means that the oil was extracted mechanically- i.e., good old-fashioned squeezing.
