From subtle and minimal, to thick gold chains, to a tied bandana, I'm loving an ankle party these days.
Anklets are back on the runways and on the feet of fashion it girls.
If, like me, you were a kid in the 90s, then you are no stranger to the anklet. You likely spent a lot of your time sorting through colored string anklets, along with those adorned with dolphins and other weird charms, to make the perfect combo. Like everyone else in the world, I took a long (like- decade and a half long) break from anklets after the trend faded way back when. But unlike, apparently a lot of other fashion people, I was wildly unaware that anklets were not cool anymore. I always wear them? It wasn't until I spotted them on the runways of Chloe and Calvin Klein for Spring that I began questioning- were anklets ever "out"? Or is it more that anklets were just something that nobody thought about? There is a difference. In any case, anklets will remain on my feet- likely dramatically stacked now that they are "a thing" and considering my love for overdoing it.
