I am obsessed with wearing t-shirts under, well, everything, lately and the transitional look is a street style favorite for good reason.
Layering t-shirts is a great way to extend the life of strapless, sleeveless and dressier pieces that you otherwise wouldn't get to wear often. A simple tee makes cocktail dress appropriate for day or a feminine dress a bit tougher. I also love them under silk camisoles, cropped tops and slip dresses.
