Black and white minimalism
There is a certain je ne sais quoi about the overall mood and styling of this editorial. It feels so soft and easy, yet impossibly cool. The styling is minimalism at it's best, that is, with an edge. Her look is clean and lets the cuts and details of the clothes do the talking. My favorite detail is the uptown/downtown feel that the looks achieve when paired with socks and sneakers. Is really adds versatility and mystery to her. She could really be going anywhere from a flea market to a party. She is really everything you could want to achieve before you leave the house in the morning. She looks feminine with an underlying toughness and chic in such an "I woke up like this" kind of way that makes you wonder how the hell she got to be so cool.
