There are many 90's trends that if I saw never again, it would be too soon- specifically butterfly clips. But the slip dress is one that I welcome with open arms, and actually never really seems to completely lose it's cool. I mean, Kate Moss has been wearing them forever.
There are so many inspired ways to wear the slip dress. I think the best way to wear it is with otherwise casual pieces. My favorite is done a la Alexa Chung with an ankle boots and an army jacket, but is easily just as rad with sneakers, layered over a t-shirt or jeans or with a sweater tied around your waist.
